Misericordia University recently hosted rising high school juniors and seniors on campus for a series of seven Career Exploration Camps in order to provide them an opportunity to experience and learn more about exciting professions and residential life on a college campus.

To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean’s List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.

Under the direction of Rocky Farden and Bobbie Palange the musical will be staged several times in the Novelis Family Park on July 24-26.

Ben Turner of Murdock’s Bicycle and Sports in Oswego has generously donated a bike to a lucky volunteer at this year’s Oswego Harborfest celebration.

Steve Park, chef and owner of Hanabi Authentic Japanese Cuisine Restaurant, recently provided lunch at the Oswego County Salvation Army Worship and Service Center Soup Kitchen for a standing-room only crowd.

Mirabito is the son of Jane and David Mirabito of Brewerton, N.Y., and nephew of Michael Mirabito of Raleigh, N.C., and Frank Hankey of Pennnellville, N.Y.

The public is invited to stop by Greene’s Ale House, located at 104 W. Bridge St., on July 21 from 6 – 8 p.m. when guest bartender, and former Greene’s employee, Brian Randolph will be behind the bar.

Any residents of Oswego that would like to make their food dollars go farther may order August Food $en$e packages until 3 p.m. on August 14. All Oswego residents may use the program.
