The challenge is to visit seven unique New York lighthouses within two days. The official challenge route runs east from Rock Island Light to the West to Braddock Point outside of Rochester.

The purpose of this friendly competition is to remind people of the importance of protecting the valuable water resources in Oswego County and across the state.
Five longtime Oswego County healthcare providers were recognized for their dedication to their patients and the community during a new provider reception held May 13. Honored as the practitioner of the year at the reception was Pediatrician Young Kim, MD, who has been providing care to area children for more than 30 years.
