On June 21, a pancake breakfast will be held at Lake City Lodge 127 at 765 E. Seneca St., from 8 a.m. until noon. The profits of the breakfast will be used to support the Oswego YMCA.

Exalted Ruler Jim Oldenburg presented Merritt Czerow with his certificate from the lodge and a check for $100 for receiving the rank of Eagle Scout.

Residents and visitors to the Port City often enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife on the linear park walkway along the Oswego River Canal. The area recently experienced a spring cleaning thanks to the efforts of Oswego Youth Court members.

An audition is scheduled for June 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the New Haven Congregational Church, on Route 104 east between Oswego and Mexico. All will receive a role. No one is turned away.

CNY Arts Center is planning double the fun with summer arts programming for children at two locations including the new Center facility at 11 River Glen Drive on the Cayuga Community College campus and at the Studio, the former downtown Art Gallery location at 47 S. First St across from the gazebo.

The Oswego County Office for the Aging will present “Medicare 101,” an informational seminar that covers the basics of Medicare, from 10 a.m. to noon on July 8, at the Oswego County Federal Credit Union, 5828 Scenic Ave.

Worthy High Priestess, Carol Reed, presented a check in the amount of $25 from the Bethlehem Chapter Number 2 Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem to Commander M. William Pittsley of Post 43, Oswego District Masonic War Veterans.
