The Northern New York Robotics Academy at Clarkson University in partnership with The Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation, will be providing high school students with five days of hands-on, project-based STEM instruction to solve a robotics challenge that is based on a past First Tech Challenge using Tetrix and Mindstorms NXT kits.

The Oswego City School District Board of Education recently recognized 16 teachers and staff members who have announced their retirement.

Held in Central Square, the 15th annual Student Leadership Conference provided an opportunity for student leaders from across Oswego County to unite and share ideas.

Yost, a senior majoring in History and Political Science, received the John C. Shinn Memorial Prize (history, political science, economics) during Heidelberg’s celebration of academic, athletic, service and leadership achievements among individual students, student organizations and faculty members.

The Leighton Elementary School girls’ intramural program recently held its 2015 “Kidnastics” performance. Kidnastics is a child-centered approach to teaching gymnastics.
