Internet Marketing for Farmers Workshops Offered

Farmers will learn how to connect with customers and potential customers online by improving their farms web presence. There will be two workshops offered, in the morning we’ll be covering how to build and launch a farm website, and in the afternoon we’ll discuss using social media platforms to promote a farm operation.

Child Advocacy Center Wants You to ‘Be The End’

The Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County is asking community members to come together to help ‘Be The End’ of child abuse. The CAC will officially kick off its ‘Be the End’ campaign at the agency’s annual meeting. At the center of the ‘Be the End’ campaign is a bold initiative known as Unto the Third Generation. Authored by Victor Vieth, Unto the Third Generation outlines the necessary steps we must all take to eliminate child abuse in America in three generations.

Oswego County EMC Announces Earth Week Activities

The Oswego County Environmental Management Council will observe Earth Week throughout Oswego County from April 22 through 28. “Since the original Earth Day was celebrated in the United States on April 22, 1970, that date has become a worldwide day for individuals, groups, schools and organizations to demonstrate a commitment to environmental stewardship,” said Tim Carroll, EMC president and Earth Week coordinator.
