G. Ray Bodley students visited Fairgrieve Elementary recently to help implement a new recycling program. GRB’s recycling program began in 1987 when a student took notice of the amount of paper being thrown away by the school.
Based in Dallas-Fort Worth, the Maniacal 4 will offer half-hour concerts during afternoon appearances that include, so far, Penfield Library’s Lake Effect Cafe at noon that day and the Marano Campus Center food and activity court at 12:30 p.m.

Oswego Health holds its golf tournament each year to support local healthcare. Last year’s event raised more than $100,000 toward the purchase of state-of-the-art Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment.

The Ancient Order of Hibernians will hold a St. Patrick’s Day party on March 15. It will be held at the Polish Home in Fulton from noon until 6 p.m. There will be Irish music, dancing and food.
The Oswego Firefighters’ Association invites the public to join them for a night of entertainment at the “Firefighter’s Ball.” This popular annual event will be held on April 10 at The American Foundry. Proceeds from the event will benefit local charities.
The Oswego County Health Department is offering influenza immunization clinics for people age 19 and older at the Nick Sterio Public Health Clinic, 70 Bunner St., Oswego.
