An exhibition titled “Transitions” from March 13 to April 11 at Oswego State Downtown will showcase artwork created by students who have recently transferred into SUNY Oswego’s art disciplines. A free public reception for the artists will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. March 27, at the branch of the College Store and Tyler Art Gallery at West First and Bridge streets in Oswego.
More than 300 people have registered for the fourth annual Run For Dennis 5k Run/Walk, said Jessica Newson, race director. The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. March 14 to honor the memory of Oswego resident Dennis Pacheco (5/28/59-3/17/11), a victim of bladder cancer.
