Winter Walk Through History Planned At Fort Ontario
Fort Ontario State Historic Site’s first “Winter Walk Through History” is scheduled for January 1, 2015. The event will feature a narrated historical stroll around the grounds and buildings of the old 75-acre military reservation. Led by AmeriCorps staffer and historian Mitchell Manniccia, the walk will begin at 10 a.m. in the Enlisted Men’s Barracks inside the old stone fort.

Fitzhugh Park School Gets Coat Donations from Exelon
Fitzhugh Park Elementary School recently received a donation of brand new coats from Exelon Corporation, as part of a holiday coat drive. Exelon employees Karen Krakowka, Pam Schimd and David Mulchaey organized the coat drive to assist Fitzhugh Park students this winter season.
