As each deceased resident’s name was read, family or St. Luke staff placed a flower in remembrance of the resident on a memorial wreath. Words of remembrance from family, songs, prayers and even some laughter as joyful memories of residents’ lives were recounted, were all a part of the ceremony.
The Oswego High School Buccaneer Bulletin won 24 awards at the annual Empire State School Press Association competition held recently at Syracuse University. The awards recognized student published work from the 2013-14 school year.
