SUNY Oswego will exhibit works of painter and Oswego native Rose Besch from July 19 to Sept. 6 at Oswego State Downtown. The exhibition, titled “Metamorphosis,” will open from 2 to 4 p.m. July 19, with an artist’s reception at the gallery and branch of the College Store at the corner of West First and Bridge streets.
At its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on July 1, the City of Fulton Republican Committee unanimously voted to endorse Republican candidate Salvatore Lanza for Oswego County Family Court Judge.
The Oswego City School District still has openings for the Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program. The program is designed for children who were born between Dec. 2, 2009, and Dec. 1, 2010, and is offered at no cost.

Oswego County STOP-DWI coordinator Robert Lighthall announced that Oswego County police agencies will participate in a special enforcement effort to crackdown on impaired driving. The statewide STOP-DWI Crackdown efforts start on July 3 and will end on July 7.
