Carol Vescio of Fulton recently received the 2014 Community Service Award from Fulton Sunrise Rotary Club. A Community Service Award is presented to a person in the community that the Club feels has donated much of their time to various organizations and functions in the area.

Summer classes are now forming for a series of classes with Bonnie McClellan. No experience is required for these classes. Students will complete a painting during the class as the instructor paints alongside, step by step teaching brush strokes and techniques.
Mexico resident Brittany Lighthall was one of 734 students to graduate from Messiah College on May 17 during the College’s annual commencement. Lighthall graduated magna cum laude with a degree in accounting.
