Nazareth student athletes names to Empire 8 President’s List for Spring 2014.

Matt Skinner has graduated from the three-week airborne training course, also known as “jump school,” at the U.S. Army Airborne School, Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. He is a graduate of Oswego High School, Oswego.

Each year more than 400 volunteers come together during Harborfest. As an admission free festival, it would not be possible without volunteers.

On Thursday evenings in July, during the farmers’ market, a variety of creative art techniques will be demonstrated at Lakeside Artisans, 191 W. First St.

The music event is part of the Arts Center commitment to spotlight local artists from all arts – painters to authors, young performers and now those recording artists who live and work in the area.

Among the Pulaski Historical Society Museum’s house exhibits is a display of rare Irvin coverlets from 1853 to 1860. James Irvin is one of two documented 19th century Jacquard-coverlet weavers in Oswego County.

The President’s and Deans’ lists represent the academic top 30.3 percent of the Oswego student body. To be included on the Deans’ List, students must have a semester grade average of 3.30 to 3.79.
