The Hannibal Country Cruizers car club will hold its annual “Cruise-In” and chicken barbeque on June 1 at the Hannibal American Legion. The Country Cruizers is an organization of classic car enthusiasts who also are dedicated to serving the community.
Jeff Grimshaw, a former member of the Fulton Noon Rotary Club when he was director of the Fulton Family YMCA, was introduced by Rotarian Nancy Kush Ellis. He is currently the director of the SUNY Office of Business and Community Relations. He discussed the THRIVE program with the Rotarians.

Harborfest needs your help! Each year, more than 400 volunteers are needed to put on the four-day, admission free festival. There are a variety of positions available. From trolley hosts to children’s activities assistants to merchandise assistants, there is something for everyone.
Earlier this month, the Fairley Fun Runners of Fairley Elementary School were happy to hear Pennellville resident, Ruth Ripley, share with them her experience of running marathons in every state. Ripley is the second women in New York State to have run a marathon in every state. Ripley’s visit ties in with a history unit on women of change.
