The course is scheduled to begin June 16. The classes will be held at Oswego Falls Business Center, 163 S. First St., Fulton, from 6 to 9:30 p.m., June 16 through 20 and June 21, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The 32nd Annual Academic Awards Night was held recently at G. Ray Bodley High School. The prestigious ceremony recognized students in grades nine through twelve for outstanding scholastic achievement and excellence throughout the academic school year.

GRB senior athletes earn recognition at year-end ceremony

The year-end awards ceremony, sponsored by the Fulton Athletic Booster Club, provided coaches, parents and district representatives with an opportunity to honor 88 seniors who represented the school well on the field of play and in the classroom.

Classroom chick project a huge favorite

For many years, students in Patty King’s third grade classroom at Sandy Creek Elementary School have participated in a very special and highly anticipated chick hatching project. Each year, King gets fertilized eggs from several area farms, and puts them into an incubator.

Student Researchers Shine at Inaugural Birdlebough Earth Science Research Symposium

An inaugural Earth Science Research Symposium at Phoenix’s John C. Birdlebough High School featured the research of 42 students from the school’s freshman class. Earth science honors students from Susan Sharp and Andrea Ackles’ classes started tackling their research project assignments for the symposium back in early October.

Bone Density Screenings Part of St. Luke, Michaud’s Outreach to Promote Better Health

Nurses from Michaud and St. Luke Health Services have again teamed up to offer free bone density screenings at various locations in Oswego County. “Our bone density screening program is a great chance for folks to receive valuable health information free of charge,” said Michaud nurse Dorothy Reitz, RN.
