On April 24, the Oswego Public Library hosted people reading their favorite poems. Oswego Mayor Tom Gillen led off with The Stolen Child by W. B. Yeats. Libbie and Conner read also before Librarian Edward Elsner finished up with the favorites of Diane C., Matthew Brancato and an attempt at pronouncing Spanish.

Pulaski High School track and field standout Breann Burns signed a letter of intent to the University of Rhode Island where she will run hurdles for their team. Burns, a senior at the school signed her letter during a special ceremony held in the library before a host of family, friends and faculty in the district.
