The Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District is now accepting petitions for the board of education for the 2014-15 school budget vote and board of education elections in May.

Kindergarten registration is rapidly approaching in the Oswego City School District. This year kindergarten registration for September 2014 will be from 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. daily from February 10 through 14 in the school the child will be attending.

“Bundle of Bucks” Charity raffle ticket holders who purchased their tickets by February 14 will be entered in an “Early Bird” drawing when five – $100 prize winners will be selected in advance of the grand drawing raffle in May.

At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Carol Vescio introduced Nancy Fox, the director of CNY Arts Center. Nancy, whose enthusiasm and energy is boundless, gave an update of the Arts Center’s recent activities and progress.

The Reagan Companies, an insurance and risk management firm in Marcellus, is proud to announce the addition of a new team member for its sales and marketing division. Brian Genalo, of Liverpool, was recently appointed sales director.

High school juniors who are looking to bolster their college resume by enrolling in a New Vision course their senior year can learn about the program during an information night Feb. 5. The event, for prospective New Vision students and their parents, aims to introduce students to the program and provide information ranging from the application process to the specific opportunities available.

The 2014-2015 State Budget address delivered by Governor Cuomo puts New York State in a great position to build upon the work we have done in recent years to control spending, cut taxes and invest in initiatives that create new jobs and revitalize our economy. Working together, we have put a stop to the decades of late and unbalanced budgets by passing three consecutive early budgets.
