Oswego City Police Lieutenant Zachary Misztal visited the Oswego Middle School as guest of eighth grade English teacher Sandra Brown (right). He helped the Eight East students “solve a crime” as he spoke about crime scenes, what to look for and the roles of people who work at the scene.
The production staff of the new musical ‘Robbin Hood’ is not pleased with the reviews that have been published in the Boston papers. They attribute the terrible reviews to the horrible performance of their leading lady and fear that their show is doomed and will never be able to open on Broadway. The scene is from Quirk’s Players’ 2014 musical, Curtains, which plays this weekend in the G. Ray Bodley High School Auditorium.
The Oswego County Legislature’s Human Services Committee recently presented Pam Austin with a certificate of appreciation for her 30 years of service. Austin is a senior support examiner at the Oswego County Department of Social Services.

My dog, Sheba, has been limping a little for the past few days and I was reading on the internet that I should try just giving her some pain medication on my own to see if she gets over it before I spend a lot of money taking her to the vet. A gallery of photos of children who are available for adoption will be displayed at the Fulton campus of Cayuga Community College during March. Entitled the “Central New York Heart Gallery,” the display is presented by the Professional Photographer’s Society of Central New York State and sponsored locally by the Oswego County Department of Social Services.

The Evangel University Concert Choir will appear in concert at Port City Faith, Oswego at 10:45 a.m. March 9, Pastor Sebastian Foti has announced. The EU Concert Choir is a 36-member vocal ensemble that is currently touring through Ohio, Virginia, New York and Connecticut.
