Twenty-two Fairgrieve Elementary School students earned recognition Dec. 18 for their positive behavior in the library and computer lab. Certificates and pencils were presented to the award recipients during Morning Express, with librarian Barb Senecal commending the winners for their achievements.

The Oswego City School District was recently notified that they would be the recipient of the Expanded Half Day Pre-kindergarten Grant. The funds received would allow the district to add an afternoon class at Kingsford Park School as well as expand a current morning class at Leighton to full-day.
