When the Richard S. Shineman Foundation was established one of its goals was to mirror the deep compassion for community that Mr. Shineman had and improve the quality of life in the counties that it serves. A spaghetti dinner to benefit the Oswego High School Lady Buccaneer Softball Team will be held at the Oswego High School cafeteria on November 21, from 4:30 until 7 p.m. The cost of the dinner is $7 for adults, $6 for senior citizens and children 5 to 12; children under 5 eat free.
With just weeks remaining to raise $8,450 (by December 15), the advisory committee is working hard to reach its fundraising goal. Meeting its goal will make the Fund eligible to receive a dollar-for-dollar matching grant of $15,000 from the John Ben Snow Memorial Trust.
