Workshop for maple syrup producers planned
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County will sponsor a workshop for maple syrup producers on November 23, from 10 a.m. to noon at Red Schoolhouse Maple, on the corner Red Schoolhouse Road and County Route 4 in Palermo. The workshop is for individuals who want to expand their knowledge of the use of tubing in their maple syrup business.

World traveler, athlete, author and photographer Jan Reynolds captivated an audience of Fairgrieve Elementary students Thursday with tales of her worldly experiences. Students in third through fifth grades gathered in the school’s gymnasium to learn about Reynolds, her experiences across the globe and the many things she has learned along the way.
