The Cayuga Community College Alumni Association recently honored two alumni for their outstanding contributions to the college community. The 2013 Alumni Awards went to Patricia M. Callahan ’87 and Michael R. Frame ’99.

The Salvation Army of Oswego County has received a grant of $5,681 from the Walmart Foundation as part of a national Walmart donation of one million dollars to Salvation Army centers across the country.

College in Utica:

Following a footprint path, visitors viewed the artistic creations of students from the college and high schools across Oswego County, community members, as well as college employees and alumni. The exhibitions included submissions in a range of media – including photography, paintings, sculpture, ceramics, and drawings.

The public is invited to drop-off old electronics – and help United Way of Greater Oswego County – at  State Senator Patty Ritchie’s free electronics recycling event on Saturday.

The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is pleased to announce that Aericka Pawlikowski of Parish was recently initiated into Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

Ithaca College’s Department of Physical Therapy has honored Mexico student Cali DeSanto with its Professional Excellence Award. The honor was presented May 15.
