Several members of the Fulton Sunrise Rotary Club and the Fulton Noon Rotary Club gathered at Bull Head Point on May 4, Mayberry Day, to pick up the roadsides between the Fulton War Memorial and Phillips Street. The Rotary clubs have policed this area of Route 3 for more than ten years.
Fulton Rotarian Helen Hoefer introduced Martani de Rooy, consumer advocate for National Grid. Martani is a social worker by background and education. Martani described the type of work that she does with National Grid customers.

SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations will graduate its 21-member Leadership Oswego County class of 2013 on May 31, and present awards to two community leaders.
Career and Technical Education students from Oswego County BOCES joined well over 2,000 students from other BOCES, technical career centers and high schools for the 47th Annual New York State Leadership and SkillsUSA Championships.

The H. Lee White Museum and Maritime Center are offering a variety of youth and adult sailing classes to help community members learn to enjoy our amazing waterfront. The classes will run through June, July and August and cover a variety of skill levels. They are instructed by a U.S. Sailing Association certified instructor.
The Cayuga Community College Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, May 13 in the College’s Student Lounge on the Auburn Campus, 197 Franklin St.
The board is expected to resume discussion of budgetary and bargaining unit issues.
