Head Start Pre-K will be holding Community Awareness Day at each of its centers in early March. The program invites prospective parents, families, community members, public leaders, and schools to visit one of the eight centers throughout Oswego County.
The SUNY Oswego music department will present its annual Collage Concert at 7:30 p.m. March 8, in Tyler Hall’s Waterman Theatre. The concert — a fundraiser for music scholarships — will feature student and community ensembles, small student groups and solos.
On Feb. 25, Assemblyman Bob Oaks met with representatives of the Cancer Services Program of Cayuga, Oswego and Wayne counties to discuss ways the program has helped local residents.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of the United Way and play a major role in success of many of the United Way’s initiatives and its annual campaign. On March 13, as part of the United Way of Greater Oswego County Annual Meeting, the United Way will pay tribute to its many volunteers.
