The Oswego County Historical Society is currently planning its 26th annual “Not So Silent Auction,” which will be held April 19, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at The American Foundry, 246 W. Seneca St., in Oswego.

On February 23, Lake City 127 F&AM held itsr 62nd Annual George Washington Celebration. A roast pork supper was served by Lake City Victoria Chapter 205 Eastern Star.

Fulton City Court Judge David H. Hawthorne has announced his run for election this November for a full term of the position he currently holds. Hawthorne was appointed City Court Judge effective January 1, 2013, by Mayor Ronald Woodward, Sr. to replace Judge Spencer J. Ludington.
On my way to work every morning I drive by a pasture where I can see some horses off in the distance sort of in the woods. They are there every single morning no matter how cold or rainy or windy it is. Is this right? I don’t think horses should be treated like this.
Softball Registrations for the 2013 Summer Season are now being accepted at the City Clerk’s office in the Municipal Building at 141 S. First St., Fulton. Rosters, schedules and rules are also available at this location.
At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Tracie Pluff-Gioia introduced Bob Lighthall. He is the Oswego County Coordinator for STOP DWI. He touched on the many services provided by the program.
