The Oswego County Legislature’s Infrastructure, Facilities and Technology Committee presented William Malone with a certificate of appreciation for his 25 years of service.

The Oswego County Department of Social Services (DSS) hosts an informational meeting for people who are interested in becoming foster or adoptive parents. The session runs from 9 to 11 a.m. on April 4 in their offices at 806 West Broadway in Fulton.

The Oswego County Health Department will hold eight rabies clinics at locations around Oswego County this year. All clinics will be held on Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. The first will be March 27 in Scriba.

State Senator Patty Ritchie is now accepting nominations from veterans’ posts, family members and community leaders in Central and Northern New York for induction in the New York State Senate’s “Veterans Hall of Fame” program.

The all Fulton community Good Friday Cross Walk, March 29, will begin at 10:30 a.m.
in the parking lot of Holy Trinity Parish, 309 Buffalo St., Fulton. Rev. Mark Kimpland will lead in the opening of the walk.

A newcomer to the Players, Aaron Locke Londraville, plays Dick Jensen, a character referred to by the director as a “weasel.” The Jenson role is that of a Campaign Manager who will pull out all the stops to get his man elected.

Local Cub Scout packs 809, 819, 885 and 888 went to G & G Reptile in Oswego to learn about different types of reptiles with a demonstration and hands on with the reptiles.

On March 14, the Chairman of the Oswego County Legislature spoke to members of the Oswego Sunrise Rotary Club. Beardsley addressed concerns about the county transfer stations and several other concerns of the community.
