BOCES Cosmetology student Kaitlin Nicholson was more than willing to help her principal, Jay Altobello, when she offered to dye Middle School Principal Jean Lynch’s hair pink, in her BOCES classroom, to settle a wager between the two administrators.

On March 27 Oswego County BOCES, in partnership with many Oswego County agencies, will be hosting the eighth annual Regional Awareness Program for Young Drivers (RAP for Young Drivers).

Students at Lanigan Elementary School in the Fulton City School District held a Living Museum Project at their school where important historical characters were brought to life.

Fulton Mayor Ron Woodward spoke to the Fulton Noon Rotary Club recently. The mayor was introduced by Rotarian Dan O’Brien. Dan is also the Public Works Commissioner for the city of Fulton.

The Oswego Lions Club will hold its 15th annual Wine and Beer tasting with silent auction March 22 at the American Foundry. The event is scheduled for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., with pre-sale tickets $15 and $20 at the door the night of the event.

The students at Trinity Catholic School kicked off their 3rd Annual Jump Rope for Heart Campaign on Feb. 13. Students are currently accepting pledges for the event to be held at the school on March 20.
