The event drew a large crowd to the school which brought all APW students to a single campus, two-building location. The curriculum night allowed students to show their family their new building, classrooms, playground, and attend a book fair which was held in the cafeteria.

David Cordone, Fulton Board of Education President was a recent visitor to Fairgrieve’s Morning Express program. Cordone, himself a former student at the school, talked to the students about the functions and responsibilities board of education members have in representing the citizens in their district.

The SUNY Oswego Metro Center in Syracuse will offer a class titled “Improv U” on improving business performance through improvisation on four Tuesday evenings in October and November.

The dinner will showcase the quality and diversity of agriculture in Oswego County by featuring locally grown and sourced food. The event is hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County, with the support of local farmers and agriculture businesses, at The American Foundry in Oswego.

Operation Christmas Child has named 11 sites as collection points for shoe box gifts filled stuffed animals, small toys, school supplies and hygiene items for distribution to boys and girls ages 2 to 14 in areas of war, hunger, disaster, disease and poverty around the world.

The ornament shows the original Hannibal Baptist Church on the front, with a short history of the building on the back. Each ornament comes with a cord for hanging and a pouch for storage.

Army Pvt. David M. Finch Jr. has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
