APW Winter Guard finish season undefeated
Undefeated in the Mid-York Color Guard Circuit (M-YCGC), the team competed in the SA3 class championship competition at East Syracuse-Minoa (ESM) on April 1 where they were presented with the gold medal.

With the issue of bullying becoming more prevalent, members of the class of 2012 Leadership Oswego County Youth program are lending their support to the growing anti-bullying movement.
CNY Arts Center began reaching out to the students of SUNY Oswego last week, notifying them of the prospective opportunities they can soon take advantage of. The Arts Center is currently planning a variety of workshops in writing and studio art.
Sponsored and coordinated by the SUNY Oswego Jewish Student Union/Hillel, the non-competitive event will be held April 28 beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Starting May 4, Lakeside Artisans, 191 W. First St., (Canal Commons) Oswego will be offering a series of art classes for adults, 16 years of age and up.
The Oswego County Historical Society will host its next lecture entitled “Morgan Robertson and the Wreck of the Titan” on April 15 at 1:30 p.m. in the community room of the Oswego Public Library at 120 E. Second St.
Dr. David Devito and Dr. Juan Lopez will hold a discussion about the dangers of snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea and free screening. It will be held April 18 at 5:30 p.m. at the Fulton Public Library, 160 S. First St.
Area students can learn more about careers in the health care field at Oswego Hospital’s MASH Camp (Medical Academy of Science and Health) to be held Aug. 1 and 2. The camp is open to students entering the eighth or ninth grade in the fall.
A SUNY Oswego student-faculty duo will demonstrate and discuss Cuban percussion, following a trip to the island nation earlier this month, as part of April 18 Quest activities.
