Chicken Barbecue Fundraiser Scheduled
The Friends of History In Fulton, N Y, Inc. will hold a chicken barbecue at the Pavilion on Bullhead Point, Route 3 West, on May 6, from 11:30 a.m. until sold out.

Applications for the $1,000 prize are being accepted from those planning to continue their education in a communications-related field. Submissions must be postmarked by May 11.
The signature gala will be held at the American Foundry Saturday. The venue will allow for ballroom dancing and interactive costumed actors that include SUNY Oswego students as well as community performers dressed in period costumes.
SUNY Oswego’s GENIUS Olympiad has chosen as finalists 248 science, art, creative writing and architectural design projects from around the globe, and will invite their high school-age authors and the students’ mentors to spend June 24-29 in Oswego.
Gary Izzo, a 1980 theatre alumnus and veteran playwright and producer, will direct the student cast and lead the faculty and student crew for the play, focused on a lovers’ trap in the Italian Renaissance.
Executive Director of the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County, Karrie Damm, announced that the members of the CAC’s Multi-Disciplinary Team met recently at the CAC’s Annual Meeting to establish its goals for the future and update the groups Interagency Agreements.

The Oz Roller Girls will host the Albany All-Stars A Team on May 5 in a rematch of a high-scoring Oz victory from earlier this year. Titled “Cinco de Mayhem,” the bout will start at 6 p.m. in Oswego’s Crisafulli Rink. Doors open at 5 p.m.
The program will include the overture to “The Magic Flute” by Mozart, Beethoven’s Symphony No.1, Schubert’s “Unfinished” Symphony and Smetana’s “Ma Vlast, The Moldau.”
