Fulton Civic Leadership Featured At ‘Meet The Neighborhood’ Gathering
The community is invited to meet Fulton civic leaders including Mayor Ron Woodward, Fifth Ward Alderman Jay Foster and Six Ward Alderman Lawrence Macner and Police Chief Orlo Green on Saturday starting at 5 p.m. at the First United Church of Fulton, 33 S. Third St.
The Assemblyman read a Dr. Seuss book and talked with the students about how laws work and how they can govern such things as the length of the school year.
World Languages Week was celebrated at Hannibal High School the second week of March. There were trivia raffles, food tastings, decorating the hallways and dressing in the colors of the country of the day.
Preparations are under way at Fort Ontario State Historic Site for the 2012 programming season as Steven Woods will soon join the garrison through the Oswego County AmeriCorps program.
With spring break right around the corner, CNY Arts Center plans to continue the fun started with Winter Break into Writing. Jim Farfaglia, local author and poet, will again host “Break into Writing” at Fulton Public Library for 10-14 year olds, 10 a.m. to noon April 2-6.
