The artwork of master of arts teaching candidates will hang alongside that of their student teaching mentors and their K-12 students in “Generations III,” an exhibition starting March 23 in SUNY Oswego’s Tyler Art Gallery.
At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Dan Farfaglia, left, introduced Chris Ells, Athletic Director for the Fulton City School District. Chris shared his philosophy which is to get as many students invested into school activities as possible.
Scheduled for April 28, the event will be held from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Oswego Armory, West First Street in Oswego. The event, which serves as the school’s largest fundraiser, will feature both a silent auction and a live auction.
Minetto chorus members were “under the sea” as they presented their annual musical at the Faust Theatre for the Performing Arts. This year “The Little Mermaid” was staged as the colorful, music filled extravaganza filled the stage.

The 12 -week Oswego Y Triathlon training program will begin on March 26 at the Oswego YMCA. Led by personal trainer Trish Levine, the program will help prepare those interested in participating in short course triathlons including the Tri Oswego event June 17.

Dancer and college professor Ligia Pinheiro will present a free lecture-demonstration on “Telling Tales Through Dance” March 25, at SUNY Oswego. Illustrating the changing meaning of gesture in dance history, Pinheiro will appear at 3 p.m. in the Sheldon Hall ballroom.
