Following the final performance of Quirk’s Players’ recent production of the musical comedy Damn Yankees, the student theatre troupe honored two special individuals, retired GRB physical education teacher Dave Garber and GRB English teacher Rob Lescarbeau.

Lake Ontario Royal Arch Masons will host a presentation by Cardiac Research Institute at Masonic Medical Research Laboratory at Lake City Masonic Hall 765 E. Seneca St., on April 2.

The H. Lee White Marine Museum is pleased to announce that Martha and Terry Hammill of Oswego have agreed to serve as the honorary chairs of the museum’s “A Titanic Affair” Committee.

Cutting needless red tape and lowering taxes are the top priorities of farmers in Oswego, Jefferson and St. Lawrence Counties, according to a survey conducted by Senator Patty Ritchie, chair of the State Senate’s Agriculture Committee.

The program allows young people to sample military life with no obligation to join any branch of the armed forces.

The Preschoolers at Phoenix Head Start Program had a special visitor on March 1. “Cat in the Hat” (aka… Jackie Christian, center assistant) came to Discovery Day Care and celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday with the children.
