Oswego State Downtown to show works of ‘plein air’ painter

SUNY Oswego senior Joseph Ray will exhibit his plein air (painted outdoors) works, including "The Blue Trail #1," from March 9 to April 7 at Oswego State Downtown. A free artist's reception will begin at 5 p.m. March 30, at the store and gallery, West First and Bridge streets.SUNY Oswego will show the works of Joseph Ray, a senior from Marcellus, in an exhibition of his “plein air” paintings titled “Nature Through Abstraction” March 9 to April 7 at Oswego State Downtown. 2012 St. Baldrick’s Fundraiser Gets Bigger Than Ever

St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a volunteer-driven charity dedicated to raising money for childhood cancer research, will host one of its signature head-shaving events at SUNY Oswego’s Campus Center Food Court where (hopefully) more than 75 anticipated “shavees” will shave their heads in solidarity with kids with cancer.
