The New York Lottery today announced the name of a Parish Mega Millions player who won $250,000 in the drawing held on Feb. 14. The winner, Joseph Neupert, purchased the winning ticket at the Price Chopper at 137 St Rt 104 in Oswego.

With the need for food subsidy increasing and food pantries throughout Oswego County being hard pressed to meet the growing demand, the United Way of Greater Oswego County is doing its part to raise awareness of the food shortage in Oswego County and encourage the community to help fill the shelves of our area food pantries.

Rotarian Mike Bonning introduced Danielle Stone and Daniel Summerville to the Fulton Noon Rotary Club at a recent luncheon meeting.

Kellie Greene, Republican candidate for the NY-23 Congressional District, will be making an appearance in Oswego on Feb. 27. This will be the first official event in Oswego for Greene since announcing her candidacy on Feb. 1 in Watertown.

What would you do with $20,000? The CNY Arts Center wants you to discover the answer to that question in their upcoming “Cash Dash” drawing. The Arts Center is currently offering Cash Dash tickets for $40 apiece, which may be bought by individuals, pairs, or multiples.

Everyone who had purchased “Bundle of Bucks” raffle tickets on or before Feb. 14 was entered in the “Early Bird” drawing where five – one hundred dollar prizes have been awarded. The five winners of this year’s “Early Bird” drawing include; Karen Smith, George Marsden, Carleen Waugh, Jim Woods and Nancy Smith.

The Fulton high school theatre students will be sponsoring a spaghetti dinner on Tuesday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Fulton Polish Home, located on West First Street. The meal will feature pasta, meatballs, salad, bread and spaghetti sauce from Canale’s Restaurant.

Inspectors are needed at various polling sites around the county. The position pays $110 for the primary election and $160 for the general election. Inspectors are paid $30 to complete a training program.
