The Memorial Day Salute is a two-day event that was created and is now carried on by representatives of the four Fulton service clubs: Rotary, Sunrise Rotary, Kiwanis and Lions.

The New York State Sheriffs’ Association held its election and installation of executive committee members and trustees at its recent 78th Annual Mid-Winter Training Conference. Members elected Oswego County Sheriff Reuel A. Todd to the executive committee.

Oswego County Teachers’ Association president, Pat Kush recently presented Casey Walpole, president of the Oswego County Labor Council, with a donation. It was to help with their annual Christmas Basket program.

The following students have been selected for inclusion on the Dean’s List for academic achievement during the fall 2011 semester at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York.

Hannibal Historical Society begins its spring schedule with a covered dish dinner on February 27 at 6 p.m. at the Community Center on Oswego Street. Members and friends are invited to bring a dish to pass and their own place setting. A business meeting will follow the dinner.
