Our Lady of the Rosary of Hannibal annual quilt raffle is under way. The theme of the quilt this year is “shades of green.” The drawing will be Nov. 20. You need not be present to win.

Great new designs are available on a variety of clothing including sweatpants, long and short sleeve T-shirts, warm winter caps and headbands, sweatshirts, hooded sweatshirts, and fleece jackets. A Buc necktie is also available for those dress-up occasions on game-day or concert-day.

Oswego Players’ director Richard Mosher is busy rehearsing his cast for a different type of Christmas play. You may never have heard of “Silent Night, Lonely Night” by Richard Anderson, but it has been around a while.

First and foremost, make sure that you are physically up to hunting. It is physically taxing, because it involves a lot of walking on uneven terrain, climbing, dragging and lifting. Make sure you discuss with your doctor the fact that you plan on hunting.

Saturday, Nov. 12, over 70 people congregated for the OTHS annual tribute to the town’s veterans. The Prior-Stock Post 1552 of Hannibal, Louis Gilbert Commander, provided the Color Guard presentation with a two vintage airplanes doing a mini-flyover a 10 am to begin the program.

Oswego Naval Sea Scout Ship 229 H. Lee White Marine Museum Division will be holding its monthly meeting Nov. 19 and 20.

In recognition of November being National Runaway Prevention Month OCO’s Crisis and Development Services’ YES! Program has been busy spreading the word and educating the community on the issue of homeless youth in Oswego County and the services that YES! offers to help combat these issues and provide assistance to those in need.

Richard Mosher has recently completed his directorial requirements for the group and will be debuting his talents in the Players’ December presentation of “Silent Night, Lonely Night,” written by Robert Anderson.
