Breakfast To Benefit United Way
The Clubhouse Tavern in Oswego and Wiltsie Construction have joined together to cook up an idea to benefit United Way of Greater Oswego County. On July 30 from 8 a.m. – noon, the tavern will host a free breakfast.
Fort Ontario Post Cemetery Tour Planned
At 7:30 p.m. on June 28, Friends of Fort Ontario will host a guided tour of the Post Cemetery at Fort Ontario State Historic Site. Jennifer Emmons, curatorial assistant at the fort, will lead the tour of the Post Cemetery which will begin at the overlook parking lot.

Teddy Bear Picnic Reading Celebration at Fairgrieve
First grade students at Fairgrieve Elementary School have reason to celebrate and that reason is READING. School librarian Barb Senecal honored the first grade students for their reading achievements and their participation in the Accelerated Reader (AR) program this school year with a Teddy Bear Picnic.

Oswego High Top 100 Receive Deserved Recognition
The Oswego High School Top 100 students were recognized for the twenty-second consecutive year. Several hundred people packed the Oswego High School Dining Hall for the annual “Top 100” dinner. Oswego Rotary, Alliance Bank and the Oswego City School District hosted the event with the Oswego City School District Food Service Department supplying a buffet extravaganza.
