Fulton Council of Christian Churches Names New Officers

New Officers for the Greater Fulton Area Council of Churches for 2010 -11.  From left to right, Vice President Rosemary Occhino, President  Rev. David Nethercott, Treasurer Lois Mirabito, and Secretary Nancy Allen.  The purpose of the Council is  to meet together to undertake cooperative ministries and promote Christian unity and fellowship. Parish Judge Honored For 20 Years’ Service

At a recent meeting of the Oswego County Magistrates Association(OCMA), New York State Magistrates Association (NYSMA) President Edward G. Van Der Water (at left), made an official appearance to honor the Hon. Edgar Field, Parish Town Justice. Judge Field was presented with a plague and certification of appreciation from the NYSMA and the OCMA. Judge Field was first elected to the post in 1989. In 2009, he decided not to run for another term. Judge Van Der Water thanked Judge Field for his 20 years' service to the community he served and to the administration of Justice.At a recent meeting of the Oswego County Magistrates Association(OCMA), New York State Magistrates Association (NYSMA) President Edward G. Van Der Water (at left), made an official appearance to honor the Hon. Edgar Field, Parish Town Justice.

Rotarians Meet With Rotary Official

At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Dan Farfaglia, right, introduced Dan Young who is our representative to our Governor.  Dan is the representative for Central New York and four other countries.   A large part of his responsibilities is handling the briefings for the Governor when he is traveling.  Dan elaborated on Governor Patterson's State of the State message from last week and encouraged anyone to contact him with questions. The Fulton Sunrise Rotary meets every Friday at 7 AM at Fulton's Riverside Inn.At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Dan Farfaglia, right, introduced Dan Young who is our representative to our Governor.
