Parent representatives gathered recently to attend Head Start’s Center Committee Training. These parents were elected within each of the program’s parent groups to serve as officers. Parent involvement is at the core of OCO’s Head Start Preschool.

The small group has been taking classes for a few weeks at LaVallee’s USA Black Belt Champions, practicing not only martial arts moves but also techniques for avoiding confrontations.
The Oswego County Legislature’s Economic Development and Planning Committee presents Janet Clerkin with a certificate of appreciation for her 25 years of service to the county. Clerkin is the Tourism and Public Information Coordinator with the Oswego County Department of Community Development, Tourism and Planning.
