The Oswego County Legislature recently proclaimed September 2009 as Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month with a presentation to the Oswego County Division of Mental Hygiene. All county residents are encouraged to embrace this year’s theme, “Join the Voices for Recovery: Together We Learn, Together We Heal.â€Â

Women’s Hockey Coach a Featured Speaker at “Connectionsâ€Â
Among the featured speakers for the event will be Diane Dillon, Head Coach of the Oswego State Lakers. Dillon, a native of Tonawanda, NY, completed five seasons as an assistant coach for the Division I Cornell University women’s hockey team prior to being named the head coach at Oswego State in 2006.
