Bands of America Next Stop for Marching Bucs
The Oswego High School Marching Buccaneers will join bands from Virginia, Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana at the Bands of America Regional Championships (sponsored by Yamaha) this Saturday in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Busy Little Beavers
Nature Chris will lead a walk to a beaver dam and lodge, and explore the habitat they’ve created during Busy Little Beaver on October 18, 2008 at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center from 10:00- 11:00 am . Program participants will learn about the beaver’s home and what makes them such special animals while getting dressed up like a beaver, singing the beaver song, and listening to a beaver tale.

Students Go Beyond The Classroom
On October 18th, the United Way of Greater Oswego County will conduct its 17th annual Walk-A-Thon on the SUNY Oswego campus. The walk, which is a collaborative effort with SUNY Oswego students and Auxiliary Services, will help raise money to support 38 community agencies aligned with United Way.

Infection Control and Barrier Precautions
This course meets New York State Education Law and Public Health Law requirements for applicants for licensure and registration in nursing and related health professions. Class is offered Friday, October 24, 2-5 pm, at the Auburn campus, 197 Franklin St. AND at the Fulton Campus, 806 W. Broadway, Fulton. Tuition for each session is $39 and registration deadline is October 17.
