Tricia Clark has been named the coordinator of the Rural Health Network of Oswego County. Operating under the auspices of OCO, the Rural Health Network is a consortium of health care providers and human service providers in Oswego County. Working together the members take a collaborative approach to addressing major health issues that exist in Oswego County.
The United States Constitution was signed on September 17, 1787 and as part of a learning experience Kingsford Park Elementary School sixth grade teacher Tod Simons had a major class project culminate with the signing of the “Class Constitution.”
The food drive was in addition to a recent financial sponsorship of the Food Bank of Central New York. Employees collected boxes of pantry staples such as peanut butter, cereal, tuna fish and other items to assist a local food pantry recover from the summer months when many emergency food programs see a significant increase in need and decrease in donations.
The Joyce McDonald Cancer Memorial (for all cancer victims in Oswego County) will hold a meeting at 6:30 P.M., on Monday September 22nd, in the Fellowship Hall of the Bristol Hill Church. The church is located on Route #3, one mile East of Volney Center. The public is invited.
