Winning Water For Pulaski

Youth Bureau Will Award Mini Grants for Youth Projects

The Oswego City-County Youth Bureau is accepting applications for its final round of funding for the 2008 mini-grant program.  Grants of $500 to $2,000 will be awarded to community organizations that provide non-sectarian activities for youth during hours when school is not in session.

Child Advocacy Center Making a Difference

</p>Jennifer Bray is a victim advocate with the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County, a non-profit organization that works hand-in-hand with local law enforcement, prosecution, child protective services, medical providers, therapy providers, and victim advocacy professionals in Oswego County to protect and serve over 200 child victims of sexual and physical abuse each year.

For Victims of child abuse and their families it’s comforting to know that the Child Advocacy Center is there to offer them the support they need to deal with the traumatic affects of physical or sexual abuse.

Members of the Step By Step Clubhouse have been busy this year tending to their very first vegetable garden.  The idea for the garden came from a planning meeting for the Clubhouse’s annual Art & Wellness Festival.
