SUNY Oswego art professor Juan Perdiguero will spend four months in Chile next spring as a Fulbright U.S. Scholar, teaching and doing research on techniques and processes in drawing that cut across traditional, single-discipline boundaries. The Fulbright Commission accepted Perdiguero’s application to work from March 1 to June 30, 2019, as a visiting professor at Finis Terrae University School of Visual Arts in Santiago, Chile.

State Senator Patty Ritchie has secured $50,000 in special state funding for capital improvements in the town of Hannibal. The funds will help the town cover the cost of its recent efforts to pave Pellet Road, a residential, gravel road that was littered with potholes, causing tire damage and hazardous conditions for those who traveled it.
