Subaru Ambassador Emily Liepke delivered a donation of BarkBoxes to Oswego County Opportunities food pantry. The BarkBoxes, which contain an assortment of dog treats and toys, were donated as part of the Subaru Ambassadors’ Day of Caring.

Public Health Educator / Emergency Preparedness Coordinator with the Oswego County Health Department Sonia Robinson and Buckle Bear demonstrated the proper way to install and use car seats to provide optimal protection for children.

The Oswego County Health Department offers a variety of services to all residents of Oswego County, including preventive health services, certified hospice, and a maternal and child health program.

This year’s Harborfest Children’s Musical, Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids, continues a tradition of family entertainment that began with the creation of the festival in 1987. The original concept as visualized by the founder of Harborfest the late Rosemary Nesbitt included historical re-enactments, theatrical presentations and tales to entertain children.

The distillery opened a new tasting room at 17 Culvert St., Phoenix, and is believed to be the first distillery in Oswego County since Prohibition began in the 1920s.

At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian and President Mike DeLorme was awarded the coveted Paul Harris Award.
