There will be a free screening of the film Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale at 7 PM on Wednesday, December 14 in the Community Room of the Oswego Public Library (120 East Second Street).
Roxanne Jackson, assistant professor of art, said the display will feature the “exhilarating and cutting edge” artwork of 13 of her intermediate and and advanced student ceramists.
SUNY Oswego’s Tyler Art Gallery will open two new exhibitions on Friday, Dec. 2, and a third will open in a student-run gallery upstairs.
Hyperion String Quartet will appear Wednesday, Nov. 30, at SUNY Oswego, adding a fifth player, the college’s Robert Auler, to perform “highly personal, highly original” interpretations of two landmark piano quintets.
The Oswego High School Drama Club has held its auditions and announced the cast for its exciting fall production of Philip Barry’s comedy hit, The Philadelphia Story. It will be presented to the public Nov. 18 and 19 at 7:30 p.m.
On Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. in the Sheldon Ballroom on the campus of SUNY Oswego, the Oswego Community Youth Orchestra will begin its fifth season with: To Boldly Go Where No One Has Gone Before.” It is a program of music with “outer world” themes.
