‘Nuncrackers’ Opens This Weekend

Hark! Those nutty nuns, the Little Sisters of Hoboken” are busy putting together their first Christmas concert, live on WCON-TV, right here in Oswego!
Numerous concerts are scheduled in the upcoming weeks with the first concert slated for Nov. 30 when the Kingsford Park Elementary School band, choral and strings will be in concert at the Oswego Ralph M. Faust Theatre for the Performing Arts at 7 p.m.
The Oswego Players are busily rehearsing “Nuncrackers” the Christmas Musical.
The SUNY Oswego music department’s annual holiday extravaganza, titled “Feast of Carols,” will feature campus and community ensembles, religious and secular songs of the season and an audience sing-along at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, in Tyler Hall’s Waterman Theatre.
Oswego Health is once again bringing the sounds of the holiday to Oswego with its yearly Syracuse Symphony Orchestra concert.

The Oswego High School Drama Club will be presenting Agatha Christies “Murder on the Nile” on Nov. 19 and 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Faust Theatre for the Performing Arts.
Members of the Fulton Community Theatre are putting the final touches on the musical arrangements for the upcoming encore performances of their Evening on Broadway concert series.
Directed by Inez Manor Parker, this show is a holiday continuation of the very popular “Nunsense” musicals written by Dan Groggin.
