Kamin, an internationally known comedian who trained actor Robert Downey Jr. for his Oscar-nominated role in “Chaplin,” will pay homage to the silent-screen icon in “Funny Bones” at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 2.

The Do Good Swingband, known for its authentic presentation of music from The Swing Era, has recently added to its song list.

Syracuse University professor Alejandro Garcia’s photos of Mexican life and his 45-year collection of Mexican folk art will combine with the 48th annual Juried Student Exhibition to enliven SUNY Oswego’s Tyler Art Gallery from Jan. 28 to Feb. 26.

The Festival is put on each year by a number of community volunteers who work hard at hosting a HOT and fun event for everyone in the family.

The Oswego Film Group (OFG) has found a loophole in its contract to bring quality film to the community and will screen the 1964 movie Santa Claus Conquers the Martians; however, it will be filtered through the comic vision of the Peabody Award winning Mystery Science Theater 3000 television series.

The exhibit features the work of the Tea Time Quilters and will run throughout the month of December. The exhibit features beautiful quilts of a variety of sizes and patterns.
