The Salt Potatoes are four lifetime acoustic musicians. Though they concentrate on the traditional music of this country and the British Isles, they’re not above playing a good jazz tune, pop tune or Swedish waltz.
The Oswego Lions Club presents “Roar with Laughter” with Headliner Paul Morrissey and warm up comedian Erick James, Friday, January 28th at the American Foundry, 246 West Seneca Street, in Oswego. Doors will open at 7:00 pm.; show begins at 8:00 pm.

Syracuse University professor Alejandro Garcia’s photos of Mexican life and his 45-year collection of Mexican folk art will combine with the 48th annual Juried Student Exhibition to enliven SUNY Oswego’s Tyler Art Gallery from Jan. 28 to Feb. 26.
This delightful mystery will be acted by Nelson Metz, Sherri Baker, Bobby Fontana, Chris and Dale Bixler, Tammy Wilkinson, Jonathan Altman and Steve Standish.
The Festival is put on each year by a number of community volunteers who work hard at hosting a HOT and fun event for everyone in the family.
