Christie’s ‘Mousetrap’ To Open Friday

This Friday is opening night for Agatha Christie’s hugely popular whodunit, “The Mousetrap,” directed by Oswego Players’ favorite, Inez Manor Parker.
The winners of SUNY Oswego’s 18th annual New Voices playwriting competition will showcase their 10-page works Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 19 and 20, in staged readings.
Beauty will meet Baroque in “The Art of the Harpsichord” as a trio of musicians entertains on Wednesday, Feb. 23, in a Ke-Nekt Chamber Music Series concert at SUNY Oswego.

Area singing artists Kristen Lassiter, soprano, and Daniel Williams, tenor, will offer “A Journey Through Love,” featuring songs and arias from opera, musical theatre and art song. Accompanying is Rebecca Horning, Oswego Opera Company pianist and SUNY Oswego faculty artist.


Several familiar faces to Oswego audiences have roles in Inez Manor Parker’s February presentation of Dame Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap.”
